Based in Pershore, Worcestershire
Pershore's ONLY functional fitness facility
So what is functional fitness??
Functional fitness is about developing fitness as we are designed to move and how we move each and everyday.
We wanted to create a facility that everybody can use, whatever you're age or ability. Through education and understanding of how our bodies are pre-designed to move we can all gain strength and move better, which in the long run makes us feel great, reduces risk of injury and keeps us younger for longer.
Created and developed to be unique to many. At Em-power fitness you can train for strength, power, speed, endurance and moving correctly improving mobility, stability and flexibility. We have an array of specialist equipment and multiple ways of you training your physique.
We have membership options available at Em-Power fitness to suit any need. Not sure what to do in the gym? We have coaching and programming and classes to teach you how to lift safely and with confidence. We cater for complete beginners or professional athletes we offer something for everyone and everything is scalable.
We specialize in Olympic Weightlifting, the clean and jerk and snatch and we have Learn to Lift on Fridays to help those who have never used barbell training or those who have want to brush up on skills. We finish sessions with high intensity movements such as sprints, box jumps, kettelbell swings, wall balls and much more...
Owner and founder of Em-Power Fitness
I am Lewis Newell the owner, designer and creator of Em-power Fitness. Having served several years in the British Armed forces I have a real passion for genuinely helping others to succeed with their health and fitness. This is why Em-power Fitness was created to help many, alongside a real need for a professional training facility in Pershore.
Our aim is to get you moving and to guide you through education and consistent, dedicated practice to build you're confidence in the weights room and to get you results.
At Em-power fitness we concentrate on the four main fundamental categories of movement the squat, deadlift, pulling and pushing and the variations of these movements. We focus on developing your strength, speed, agility, power and flexibility.
